In an age where new cars are performing better than ever, there’s some exciting new models coming to the UK in 2017. But, seeing as its Christmas (and at Christmas you can ask for what you really, really want), we’re focussing on new supercars for 2017.

Due in autumn 2017, Aston Martin are all set to reveal the all-new V8 Vantage. The new small model shares its V12 engine with the DB11 but shares the same 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine as the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT. although the V8 Vantage comes with a manual gearbox too. A Vantage Roadster is set to follow.
Lexus LC: Priced from £90,000
On sale from Spring 2017, the new Lexus LC will be a rival for the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe. The new model will come in two versions, the LC 500 and the LC 500h hybrid. The LC 500 will feature a 473bhp 5-0-litre V8 engine and a 10 speed automatic gearbox, while the hybrid model will come with a 3.5-litre V6 engine and a host of new technology Lexus have put in place to effectively reduce running costs.
Christmas would not be Christmas without a new Ferrari thrown into the mix and the Ferrari LaFarrari Aperta will be on sale from 2017, but unfortunately, unless you are one of the company’s select clients, you’ll have to wait a bit as the model is already sold out! The hybrid hypercar LaFerrari now comes with a fabric open roof, and Ferrari have added body strengthening to make the new Aperta as sharp to drive as the coupe.
Maserati Alfieri: Priced from £80,000
The Maserati GranTurismo is due an update and the latest model is set to be joined by a new 2+2 Alfieri model. Slightly smaller than the GranTurismo, the Alfieri takes on a dramatic look inspired by the classic Maserati sports cars of the 1950s. The new model features a stylish cabin containing plenty of high-tech equipment, and is expected to come with a choice of three V6 engines with between 410bhp-560bhp.
Following the success of the latest Mercedes-Benz AMG, Mercedes is making the most by launching the new AMG GT Roadster, a two-seater open-top sports car that comes as a standard GT Roadster or a GT C Roadster with an output of 476bhp and 557bhp respectively. The GT C Roadster also comes with adaptive dampers and rear-wheel steering to enhance performance, which is geared up to be on par with the coupe version.
Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo: Priced from £82,000
On sale from summer 2017 the new Porsche Panamera known as the Sport Turismo has the look of a hatchback mixed with an estate car body. Previewed way back in 2012 at the Paris Motor Show, Porsche have waited a long time to get this new model absolutely perfect and its set to rival the likes of the BMW 5 Series Touring and the Audi RS6 Avant to name but a few. As well as the standard model, there will be a Diesel, Plug-In E-Hybrid, Turbo and Turbo S models available to buy.
