2014 Nissan Qashqai prices revealedBack

NissanQashquiThe new Nissan Qashqui for 2014 was revealed last week and Nissan has just released prices for this highly anticipated crossover.

Prices for the new Nissan Qashqui will start at £17,595 when the new vehicle goes on sale this January 2014 and the latest model will be available in four trim levels, the Visia, Acenta Premium and Tekna.

The Visia will be the standard model and equipment as standard on the vehicle will include air-conditioning, Bluetooth, a hill-start assist system and front, side and curtain airbags. Those who choose to upgrade to the Acenta model can add alloy wheels, automatic headlights and wipers, dual-zone air conditioning, frot fog lamps and an upgraded interior trim to the equipment list.

If you choose to pay an additional £450, you have the option to add a Smart Vision Pack to the Visia and Acenta models which will include high tech safety features such as Front Collision Avoidance, Front and Rear Parking Sensors, High Beam Assist, Lane Departure Warning and Traffic Signal Recognition.

Acenta Premium include the items in the Smart Vision Pack, plus Nissan’s Connect infotainment system, a rear-view camera, panoramic glass roof, privacy glass and a starter button, and the top-of-the-range Tekna model comes with all the luxury equipment you can think of such as 19 inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, leather upholstery and Intelligent Parking Assist.

Qashqui2The new Nissan Qashqui is available with a range of brand new turbocharged engines which offer improved fuel economy and CO2 emissions. The entry-level 1.2 DIG-T petrol engine petrol engine emits 129g/km of CO2, and in autumn 2014 it will be joined by the 1.6 DIG-T, which develops 148bhp and gives CO2 emissions of 132g/km.

The entry level diesel engine is a 1.5 dCi unit which offers CO2 emissions as low as 99g/km and an EU combined fuel economy level of 74.3mpg. All models come with front-wheel drive as standard, but the 1.6 dCi model will also be available with four-wheel drive.

Prices for the 2014 Nissan Qashqai range from £17,595 for the 1.2 Visia to £27,845 for the 1.6 dCi 4WD Tekna – the current car is priced from £16,895 to £27,650. For further information, visit the Nissan website.
