The day I picked my car up i had to wait for 1 and a half hours (this was after I had already explained I couldn't be at the dealership for too long due to having work at 2pm that afternoon (I arrived to pick the car up at 11 but didn't leave until 12:30)) and overhearing members of the sales team saying the keys for my new car had been lost. Based on this I would not recommend to family or friends. "

The car didn't have the specifications I was told on the day of the purchase. The funding didn't meet the agreed terms. I wasn't told about GAP not being on the final price. They put less petrol than I was told in the car. The car was having mechanical problems as soon as I got it I needed to come back to the garage to have it fixed!! All along I felt I was being fooled and treated dishonestly. Still waiting for my GAP papers to come through. Lost all the faith on the staff. I am happy with the car so far, but The experience was stressful and disappointing all along."

"My experience at Drive Vauxhall Bristol Central could have been better because I had 3 door handle with paint taken of, we were told the man tht would put it right had 35 year experience but all he did was touch it up with a touch up pen. Also was told I would have £30 worth of fuel put into the car but it was on the red light also passer side front grill had over spray on it and was told it would be got of and were it had a knock on the passenger front side headlight had a big gasp all round. Sales man we brought from was on annual leave so someone else did hand over, he took pictures and said the sales man would ring us Monday and surprise surprise we have heard nothing. Very disappointed with this."

"Prior to the visit, I had done my preliminary research to the price of my car (on its model and mileage). I had also done my research on the two vehicles I was interested in. Moreover, I had been in one of the vehicles of interest at the local shopping mall, which had the starting price of the car and stacks of business cards of the salesperson I was meeting. When I met with the salesperson, they seem unprepared and did not remember thr details of the meeting, despite a lengthy telephone conversation during the booking. We spent more timr with him trying to push the two finance deals they had on offer, despite me saying I did not want to be on them (giving also my reasons). The quotes and price ranges he provided were inflated (something we quickly picked him out on), the other vehicle (the insignia) was not available to view (his explaination was that the manager had the other insignia and that they did not work on sundays). The price offered for part exchange was much lower than the average of quotes from other companies. It felt as if he was pushing us towards his deal and car, rather than understanding what we wanted. Overall it felt like a waste of time, and I only stayed for as long as I did without abruptly getting up and leaving, out of courtesey."

"I would not recommend Drive Vauxhall Bristol Central because .... We arranged to view a specific car at the site having phoned the day before and having been told it was definitely on their site . This was not the case but was only explained after we had gone through multiple paperwork and appraisal of our trade in vehicle and then they realised that the specific vehicle was at another Bristol site. They then refused to make it avaialable at our most local branch of Drive Vauxhall ...stating that they were the competition . This meant we then had to travel back to their site to test view the specific car and be able to take it one test drive. We have then been told it only has one key and now been messed around and delayed while they obtain the duplicate they promised ... Which again requires us to again visit the site to have the key configured. The promised work to the towing cap wh h was bent and dented was not carried out as promised .. We are still awaiting this to happen . Each time they say they will call they don't. The salesman became pushy and argumentative when closing the sale ...bleeting that he got paid on the add ons we took and didn't get much for the actual car sale .... Frankly I don't care . I didn't want the products and made this clear .... It was only when another salesperson interjected that he seemed to get the message that we were not buying ... And particularly when it was evident that the car had already been treated with diamondbrite so why would we pay for it again. Appreciating he was young , naive and didn't know his product line he was pushy and overbearing when closing the sale .... Almost to the pint that had it not been for the interjection we were considering walking out and leaving the sale . Overall not a great experience and an experience we are still enduring until all matters have been dealt with satisfactorily . "

"I intially went to look at a used vehicle advertised on their website but unfortunately it had been sold by the time i could get to the dealership, however Nathan the salesman was great and spent some time going through their stock and found me a better car which met my budget, specification and requirements. All T & Cs were fully explained to me and there was no quibble when i decided to cancel my extended warranty with 14 days and they issued me a full refund with no fuss! Unfortunately George was on holiday a day or two after finding me a fantastic van. After this I was left in the hands of a guy called nick who unfortunately was not good at all dealing with me as it then took a further three wks to receive my van and that was only because I had to constantly call the centre to find out what was going on, as I run a business and just needed a time scale for me to collect the van. Unfortunately I left many messages and was never called back, I had to keep calling to find out what was going on. I find it hard to understand why it took three wks to receive a used van from your dealership. I was also told you would put 6 months tax on the van and made to feel like nick was doing me a favour, yet on looking at the invoice I'm paying for the tax so I'd rather not be made to feel he was doing me a favour. Over all the customer service was fine and both George and nick were nice guys and I would recommend a friend or family member. I just feel some of your staff should keep people in the loop with time frames."
