When it came to discussing the deal, no discount initially offered for cash purchase but said they would 'throw' in a set of mats. Then told by the salesman that the person (possibly manager) they had initially asked about price reduction wasn't there (5 mins later) and the salesperson could now offer a £500 discount. Asked about cherished transfer, I was told that I would be shown how to do it. Vehicle in question was not competively priced contrary to what salesman stated. "

On another occasion when I was quoted finance on a Mercedes, they had the residual value of a £30k car written down to around 8k after 3 years with subsequent high monthly payments, not much confidence in values there either."
