"Dealing with Perry’s Huddersfield was about as painless as it gets when buying a car. We agreed a fair price quickly and without any nonsense - reflecting that the manager listened to and respected me - and I was hugely impressed that he offered to bring the car to me as we were 250 miles apart. I’d expected to have to negotiate that. The car was immaculate on delivery. One very minor issue was compensated for voluntarily. All in all I feel I struck lucky that the car I wanted was at Perry’s, as I’d had a couple of more traditional experiences with other dealers. I know that when I come to replace this car in a year or two I’ll definitely take a look at what’s on offer at this dealer, purely because they were so good to deal with."

"I would not recommend Perrys Huddersfield Mazda because the 2-year old vehicle I purchased has corrosion that needs to be corrected. This is in addition to the minor paint scratch the correction of which I asked to be discounted from the price. The salesman was dismissive of the corrosion stating initially stating it was just a mark and then managed to break it off with his finger nail, but it has now returned. I traveled from London to buy the car and the previously agreed 30 day return period we had agreed and discussed over the phone prior to the visit, I was informed on the day of collection was not available on this vehicle as it was not a Mazda. We were kept waiting for a long time while the salesman dealt with another prospective customer. I had informed him of our approximate arrival time. The salesman was also persistent in trying to sell me expensive GAP insurance and tyre and wheel cover. I am very disappointed with the whole experience and am left trying to resolve the issue with the corrosion firstly with Honda myself, but am more concerned that the fault will be persistent as for such a fault on a relatively new car is unusual."

"My experience at Perrys Huddersfield Mazda could have been better because we drove 300 miles to pick up a used car that was in showroom condition according to your salesman. The car needed £700 of body work including a complete roof respay because it had about 8 lots of bird poo marks that had burnt through the paint. When I pointed it out they said to be honest we never looked at the roof. The should of said we never looked at the car when you asked over and over to take pictures of any damage so I didn't have a wasted jury. To be far to the dealer they did fuel my car for the journey home. But I still wasted in total a 12 hour round trip drive over 600miles in total"

"I would not recommend Perrys Huddersfield Mazda because I enquired about a service plan and was told it would be £30.00 a month if I paid £265.00 upfront. The car is 9 months old and it's first service is due in March that would be a total of over £350.09 for its first service which Is only a minor one. The cost of a first service is approx £170.00 so they wanted me to pay MORE THAN DOUBLE. I thought that buying a used car it would have been serviced prior to driving it off the forecourt but no I paid nearly £19000 for a car that I I am going to have to pay out an additional amount for servicing after 3 months. The sales person however was extremely good and tried his best. Additionally hours after driving the car away the tyre monitor warning light came on and the front offside tyre needs to be reinflated every 7-10 days this will be another additional cost for either a repair or new tyre. "

When I notified your staff the initial response was unbelievable......very bad. After my protest this improved but not great. I have also discovered minor body work issues and an alloy wheel, which if i contact the garage to advise I expect to be told....it was ok on pickup....which it obviously was not as i have not damaged the car in any way...i was too trusting of your staff and your reputation....very surprised to pick up the car with these problems....."
