All-new Ford B-MAX premiers in the UKBack

If you’re a fan of Ford you’ll be pleased to hear that the company has just unveiled its latest and greatest compact MPV to the nation.

Introducing the Ford B-MAX, a car which Ford believes will set a new benchmark for smart, compact, city-friendly cars.

Rumours suggest that the Ford B-MAX will offer buyers an ingenious design and unrivalled technology and Ford are busy alerting prospective buyers to the fact that although the B-MAX is relatively small, it demonstrates shear innovation within.

Today, Ford designer, Erika Tsubaki showed off the unique design of the Ford B-MAX concept car at its UK unveiling in London. The hidden pillars and innovative sliding doors are two of the new and unrivaled features which the B-MAX can offer buyers when it goes on sale in September 2012.

Step inside the cabin through the Easy Access Door System and you’ll be met with an interior which not only boasts style and flexibility, but also accommodates a variety of loads which would normally be deemed too bulky or awkward for a car of its compact dimensions.

It is predicted that the B-MAX will fulfil the needs of those who are seeking a city car or a compact MPV as it can easily cater well to the needs of both, offering class leading load space, a high quality look and feel and a set of advanced new engines.

The B-MAX is based on the award winning Ford Fiesta, but as well as offering a number of similar traits it also has a few extra tricks on show. For example, the sliding rear doors which integrate into the central pillar allow “wide open” access to the MPV, providing maximum ease and comfort for loading and off-loading kids on the school run.

Further details on the Ford B-MAX concept have yet to be revealed, but we’re told that the new car will contain Ford’s new 1-litre three cylinder Ecoboost turbopetrol engine and possibly a range of Duratorq TDCi diesel engines as well.

Set to go on sale in September, the Ford B-MAX is certainly the car to watch out for this year, so watch this space for further information.
