Google reports web economy to double by 2016Back

Latest figures released by web giant Google have revealed that the web economy in G20 is set to double by the year 2016.

It has also been reported by the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) that mobile internet access is the driving force behind this predicted rapid rise.

The study which was commissioned by Google, has assumed that in 4 years time, 3 billion people will be using the internet, which is nearly 50 per cent of the world’s population. In addition, the UK has been reported as being one of the most advanced e-commerce economies.

Every year, around 200 million people venture onto the internet for the very first time, and coupled with the rapid fall in the cost of smart phones, it is predicted that by 2016 around 8 per cent of all internet users will access the web using a mobile phone.

So, what advantages does this give to the automotive industry? Well, if you are an online motoring website such as Trusted Dealers, it means that your stock can be viewed and made accessible to a host of online visitors every day at the click of a button.

The BCG researchers have further reported that every household already researches around $3,000 or £2,000 worth of goods online before buying them in traditional stores, therefore viewing popular motoring websites such as Trusted Dealers offers prospective buyers the chance to view stock online prior to entering the forecourt, saving valuable time and money.

If you’re looking for a second-hand car, Trusted Dealers provides the perfect starting point for you to view a wide selection of used cars advertised by some of the most reputable dealers within the UK. What’s more, the website is owned by the dealers who advertise on it so there is nobody better qualified to help you find your next new car with ease.

You can even access the Trusted Dealers’ website via your mobile phone, which means that you are guaranteed to receive a high level of service twenty-four hours per day from a team of dedicated sales experts.

Patrick Pichette, Google’s chief financial officer, said: “Understanding the economic potential of the web should be an urgent priority for leaders… [with] a powerful case for countries and companies to get online and reap the rewards of an age of data.”

To find the ideal new or used car from the Trusted Dealers website, head to the search pages where you’ll be able to view a large selection of excellent quality cars to suit all tastes and requirements.
