Honda wins prestigious accolade for eighth consecutive yearBack

Honda CR-VHonda named the most reliable car manufacturer by What Car? for the eighth year running.

The annual What Car? and Warranty Direct Reliability Survey has named Honda as the most reliable car manufacturer for the eighth consecutive year, reinforcing Honda’s reputation for building solid durable and dependable cars.

One of the reasons behind Honda winning the award yet again is down to Honda’s robust manufacturing practices which has resulted in lower failure rates and lower than average maintenance costs for car owners.

The survey conducted by What Car? and Warranty Direct is based in real claims data and comprises of reviews and opinions of over 50,000 car owners. It includes the average yearly repair costs, common model issues and the owner’s overall reliability score for their car.

There are some excellent models in the current Honda range to include the British built Honda Jazz which offers drivers will masses of space despite its small and compact size. Resale values are also very strong on this model.

The Honda Civic is another popular model offering a hug boot and clever rear seats making it an excellent choice for families. It has a set of strong engines, in particular the 1.6 diesel which offers great performance and economy.

The Honda Accord also has some powerful engines and offers plenty of safety kit as standard whilst the popular Honda CR-V has just received the accolade from What Car? as the mose reliable compact SUV.
