New 2012 Toyota Land Cruiser just got even betterBack

Toyota has just released the latest version of its new Land Cruiser, designed to be the biggest and best model the company has produced so far.

Following its recent unveiling at the Brussels motor show, the 2012 Land Cruiser V8 is gearing itself up for launch in the UK on the 1st March. The new model comes equipped with advanced technology to further improve its off-road capabilities, coupled with an impressive line up of luxury equipment.

The Toyota Land Cruiser V8 will be available to buy at a start price of £62,285 on the road for the single version.

One of the most striking elements to the latest Land Cruiser is its new frontal design which sports a new-look bumper, grille and fog lights plus headlamp units featuring high-intensity discharge units and LED daytime running lights.

The new UK model will be fitted with stylish black roof rails, side mouldings and chrome details with newly designed 20 inch alloy wheels, and customers can choose from a selection of eight exterior colours including two new shades, Pearl White and Pure White.

Step inside the cabin and if you’re a Land Cruiser fanatic, you’ll instantly spot the new central cool box, air conditioned/heated front seats, a heated steering wheel and an all round upgraded feel to the quality and appearance of the interior materials. There is also a comprehensive handling and driver-assistance system which is designed to work together to provide drivers with a full spectrum of off-road driving which is safe and easy to negotiate.

The new Toyota Land cruiser is offered with the same 4.5-litre V8 turbodiesel engine coupled with a six speed automatic gearbox offering a maximum power input of 258bhp and torque of 650Nm.

The Land Cruiser also includes Toyota’s innovative Touch Pro system which is an advanced multimedia and navigation tool with a digital tuner, Bluetooth and a rear-view camera which drivers can control using a new eight-inch central touchscreen colour monitor. Designed to make life as easy as possible, it offers advanced route planning and can even be voice controlled.
