This year, a total of 180 World and European Premiers will be presented by the 260 exhibitors, and there is a host of exciting new concept cars and production cars on show.
Visitors to the show will be able to discover the latest technologies and view new models from more than 30 of the world’s major manufacturers, getting a taste for the latest cars to hit the roads in 2012 and beyond.
To celebrate the build up to this huge event in the motoring calendar, the team at Trusted Dealers has put together a sneak preview of some of the latest production and concept cars to be unveiled at the Show.
The estate or Tourer version of Hyundai’s new i30 car is set to debut at the Show and will use the same engines and running gear as the popular hatchback car. An added advantage of this new model will be its larger boot.
Toyota Yaris Hybrid
This is a concept car which is designed to offer a petrol/electric version of Toyota’s popular supermini, using a 1.5-litre engine combined with an electric motor.
Ford is all set to premiere its new Tourneo concept car at the Show, which will provide spectators with an inside look into what the next generation Ford Transit van will look like.
The Mokka is the new SUV created by Vauxhall and will be available to buy by the end of 2012. The Mokka offers buyers the choice of a two or four-wheel drive car and is set to rival other key SUV cars.
Toyota GT 86
The Toyota GT 86 has already been well received by the press at its launch, offering buyers a stylish and dynamic rear-wheel drive hatchback car. It is due to go on sale in June with prices starting from £24,995.
The Citigo is Skoda’s version of the popular Volkswagen up! which goes on sale this March. It offers a fantastic city car with five doors and will be available to buy from May this year.
The Fiat 500L is a ‘large’ version of the current and extremely popular Fiat 500 city car. The advantage of the 500L is that it offers more space and easier access thanks to sliding doors, making it a rival for the compact MPV sector too.
The all-new design Kia Cee’d offers buyers the chance to purchase a great hatchback car that blends the styling of a coupe with the space and functionality of a five-door hatchback.
