AFRL – Christmas and New Year Arrangements 2013Back

Dvla1The DVLA have advised us of their plans for the Automated and First Registration and Licensing service over the Christmas and New Year period.

There will be no AFRL service on 25th and 26th December or on the 1st January 2014.

For the remainder of the holiday period, AFRL will be available for the normal processing hours, with batch files transmitted to you on the same evening.

Dealers paying via Direct Debit, the DVLA will be collecting payment as normal for week ending 19.12.13 on Friday 20.12.13,

The DVLA do not intend to collect payment on Friday 27.12.13 for week ending 26.12.13, our intention is to collect this weekly payment together with payment for week ending 02.01.14, on the 03.01.14.

Dealers paying via CHAPS, the DVLA will expect payment as normal from them for week ending 19.12.13 on Friday 20.12.13, and for week ending 26.12.13 being paid into its bank by Monday 30.12.13.

The 14 day advanced registration parameters will allow completion of AFRL registrations over the Christmas and New Year period.

Please note that the AFRL help desk will close at 12.00 on Christmas Eve 24th December and re-open for business as usual between 8.00 and 17.00 on Friday 27th, Monday 30th and Tuesday 31st December and then as normal from Thursday 2nd January 2014.
