Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) MOT DatabaseBack

DvlaThis is to make you aware that the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) is introducing a new web-based system that will make it quicker and easier for garages to record MOT test results. A small number of garages will be helping DVSA to trial the new system before DVLA databases are linked to the new web-based system in early July.

As DVLA’s databases use information from the MOT database, this may mean that if you use the DVLA service to check a vehicle record it may not show the most up to date MOT information. We will let you know when we have linked to the new web-based system.

If you need any further information on the changes or to enquire on the MOT status of a vehicle please contact DVSA on 0300 123 9000.
