Since the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) took over as regulator of consumer credit from the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) in 2004, there have been increasing concerns about the rising costs of regulation and compliance on dealers. The NFDA would like to have a better understanding of the impact this regulatory change is having on dealers and whether this has significantly affected you costs of compliance.
Any information you can provide us with will be essential in helping the NFDA highlight financial and administrative burdens to the FCA and Government. It is the NFDA’s aim to ensure members’ concerns are efficiently and accurately represented and are not burdened by excessive levels of cost and red tape.
