With the imminent 0.5% employer wage levy to be implemented in April 2017, it is vital that we have the new Trailblazer apprenticeship standards approved to be able to use the funding made available from the levy towards the cost of the training.
The car and truck technician trailblazer standards have been approved, but apprenticeship standards for Service and Parts advisors and Sales persons are still in progress and that is where we need your input.
The Government insists that all future apprenticeship standards will have to be created by our industry. Therefore, they are asking the NFDA to discuss with its members the suitability of these standards, which have been designed by a small group of colleagues within the motor industry.
