Honda Motor Co. on Tuesday lifted its full-year sales and profit forecasts, saying new car models would help the company bounce back from a sluggish quarter in North America, its biggest market. The Japanese auto maker recently introduced a new version of its Fit subcompact in the U.S. and plans to follow that up with a compact sport utility vehicle, the HR-V. Both cars have already been released in Japan, the HR-V under the name Vezel. With the new models, Honda is aiming to give a spark to its sales in North America, where car buyers have been turning to fresher lineups from rivals like Nissan Motor Co.
