Top car retailing speakers announced for Motor Trader Summit

NFDA chairman Mark Squires, Eden Motors CEO Graeme Potts and Swansway Group director Peter Smyth are among the top car retailing speakers confirmed for the Motor Trader Summit on 12 July.

The inaugural Motor Trader Summit takes place at London’s Olympia Conference Centre on 12 July, the same day as the Motor Trader Awards, and is open free of charge to all car retailers.

The day features morning streams on Growing Your Used Car Business and How to Leverage Digital Marketing followed by three special Keynote Sessions in the afternoon.

There will also be networking break-out sessions throughout the day and an opportunity to meet exhibitors, including EMaC.

Speakers presenting the Growing Your Used Car Business stream are Peter Smyth, director of Swansway Group; Philip Nothard, cap hpi’s Black Book editor; and Karl Davis, managing director of Coachworks Consulting, the specialist automotive retailing consultancy.

Speakers confirmed for the How to Leverage Digital Marketing stream include Lee Manning, the former digital marketing director of Perrys Motor Sales and founder of Armchair Marketing.

More speakers are due to be announced next week.

The afternoon Keynote Sessions will be presented by Graeme Potts, previously managing director of Inchcape and the RAC and founder of Eden Motor Group; and Mark Squires, who successfully led Benfield Motor Group for over 20 years before becoming chairman of the NFDA last year.
