The NFDA Regional Meetings give members the opportunity not only to learn about the issues facing our sector, but also to exchange views with like-minded dealers across a range of franchises.
This week, the south western and southern regional meetings took place respectively in Bristol and Cobham.
Most of the discussions were centered on the General Election 2017, with its unexpected results, and the current situation of the UK new and used car market. Feedback from dealers who attended the meeting revealed that there seems to be a certain degree of uncertainty particularly due to the need for stability in the political environment.
Other topical issues discussed included changes to the General Data Protection Regulation, consumer legislation, as well as concerns affecting the dealer/manufacturer relationship, finance & insurance, and HR & employment.
The dates and venues of the next meetings are:
Our meetings start at 10.30 am and finish with lunch.
