FIXING THE RECRUITMENT CRISIS!Back

There has been a lot of discussion about the difficulty in recruiting youth into automotive retailing.

In response, the NFDA HR working group is currently looking at an exciting new web based initiative in partnership with ‘Get My First Job’.

‘Get my first job’ attracts young people before they choose what sector to work in.  It profiles their aspirations and then recommends industries.  This will mean that young people who would have previously NEVER considered automotive retailing will be directed to the NFDA’s industry career information pages and then onto local retailers.

This will illustrate the vast variety of opportunities within automotive retailing.

To set up the automotive sector on the website to funnel interested students (apprentices, trainees or graduates) into the industry, we need to invest a little outside the normal NFDA budget.  So, in proportion to the size of your business we are looking for your support.

The initial cost of investing in this new NFDA initiative is:

0-9 sites               £500.00                                10-19 sites          £1000.00

20-39 sites           £2000.00                             40-100 sites        £2500.00

100+ sites            £3500

This will cover all the set-up costs and the first year of the project.

This includes the dedicated web presence with your groups logo and monthly monitoring of activity.  The second year will be at a considerably reduced cost based on the success of the first year.

Please contact louise.woods@rmif.co.uk to participate.

We look forward to hearing from you!
