MEMBER QUESTIONNAIRE FOR SMALL BUSINESS COMMISSIONER CONSULTATIONBack

RMIThe RMI has been asked by the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills to respond to their newly published consultation paper on the creation of a Small Business Commissioner.

The aim of the paper is to discuss the value and worth of establishing a Small Business Commissioner (SBC) to help small businesses resolve supply chain disputes with other larger businesses.

The SBC’s main functions will be:

  • providing information, general advice and signposting
  • offering mediation to resolve disputes
  • dealing with complaints

As the RMI has been listed as an organisation to be consulted, it is important that member views are collated and used when drafting the submission response.

To ensure that we accurately report RMI member opinions on this consultation, please click here to complete the online questionnaire.

If you have any further questions or would require further information on this, please contact Katy Recina, RMI Policy Officer via katy.recina@rmif.co.uk or 0207 307 3422.
