As part of our ongoing PR activity to raise the profile of franchised dealers, we are planning a programme of media relations to highlight the range of careers available in the retail motor industry. To support this activity we would like to build up a bank of case studies of real people working in the sector which show the breadth of different options available and this is where we need your help.
Ideal candidates would be those who have a more unconventional job in the sector aside from being a technician or salesperson, or perhaps someone who has taken an unconventional route to get there. If they have been independently recognised ie. through an awards programme or other endorsement this would be even better to really make them stand out when speaking to media. Not only is this a fantastic opportunity to champion the franchise dealer sector, it is also a great chance to showcase your organisation’s commitment to providing a wide range of employment opportunities with clear career progression particularly if you run graduate or apprenticeship schemes.
Each case study will need a clear, hi-resolution image of the person in their work environment and they would need to be happy to speak to our PR agency, Acceleris, to collect the information required to draft the case study copy. Once copy is approved, this would then be sold in to the media and in some cases the journalist may want to speak further to the employee but this would be agreed on a case by case basis.
