Following the EU referendum result we understand that many will be concerned that we are now entering a period of uncertainty. The NFDA is aware of the challenges ahead, but as a sector we are resilient and used to coping with a wide range of challenges. We will work closely with members and their manufacturer partners to help determine the correct next steps. It is as important to European importers as it is to the UK market that a deal is put in place very quickly. Further guidance is in today’s news.
The Bank of England has published its Agents’ Summary of Business Conditions for the second quarter of 2016. Click Here for a full copy of the document.
On Friday 1 July, NFDA will be holding a meeting at the Culloden Hotel, Belfast. At the meeting we will update members on the trends facing our sector, including possible consequences of the referendum result, but also current market conditions and other legislative issues affecting your business such as FCA regulations and the Consumer Rights Act. If you would like to attend please contact email@example.com
We are working closely with our legal advisors to look at the issues facing the sector in the coming months. If you have any queries and concerns on Brexit please do contact the NFDA helpline on 01788 538303.
