The NFDA are currently working on template documents for the new Consumer Credit regime. So far we have templates for variation of permission applications and a template IDD (initial disclosure)document and in due course we will have a template for the limited permission application process. In addition to this, we are working with a number of compliance experts who can help you with your application process. Please do contact us if you have any issues with your application. From our experience most issues we can deal with by just a simple phone call.
This week the NFDA held its annual meeting for members in Northern Ireland. Changes to FCA consumer credit were on top of the agenda, and we also discussed and analysed the new and used car market both in the UK and NI. A lobbying update informing member’s of this year’s past and current activities in the UK and Europe was also given.
I would also like to mention NFDA service plans which we recently launched. Working with EMaC as our service plan provider, it will underline the importance of quality in the aftersales experience for consumers, and help dealers to leverage an unrivalled support programme. Further information in this week’s news.
Finally, next week we will see the new car and commercial vehicle registration figures released which will give an indication of how the year will end. Also next week the Chancellor will announce his Autumn Statement. We will be giving you a full outline of this in next week’s newsletter.
