Welcome note from Sue RobinsonBack

SueRobinson2Dear Colleagues,

The NAMA (NFDA’s sister association) car and LCV data reports have been published this week. The report shows that during December the average month-on-month value of used cars sold at auction across the board decreased 1.2% from £5,736 to £5,670. However, this figure is 2% higher than December 2013 Whilst LCV average values at auction across the board increased 2.9% from £4,948 to £5,091 between November and December. For a full copy of the data reports please contact louisewoods@rmif.co.uk

Also in this week’s news, we have included important information advising how franchised dealers can now tell the DVLA that they have bought or taken a vehicle in part exchange online. This service replaces the need for customers to send a V5C/3 disposal slip to DVLA. It also allows the trader to complete this transaction online, on their behalf.

In the forthcoming NFDA news we will include an update from this year’s NADA convention.
