Welcome note from Sue RobinsonBack

SueRobinson2Dear Colleague,

The NFDA’s sister association NAMA, has published its monthly car and LCV data reports this week for March. The car report shows that sales volumes were up 19.1% in March compared to February following the 15-plate change, whilst the LCV report shows that the average value of used LCV’s at auction across the board decreased -2.7% £4.623, however volumes saw a 7.2% increase For a full copy of the reports please email louisewoods@rmif.co.uk

Also this week, following news that thousands of drivers have had their cars clamped and received fines of hundreds of pounds after being caught out by the change in tax disc rules, the NFDA has issued advice on the new taxation procedures. Please see today’s news for more details.

Finally, a reminder that the NFDA is your trade body and here to help and advise you on regulatory and operational issues that affect your business. Please do contact us on the NFDA helpline 01788 538303 if you need any assistance.
