Welcome note from Sue RobinsonBack

SueRobinson2Dear Colleague,

The NFDA’s sister association the National Association of motor auctions (NAMA), has published its monthly car and LCV data reports this week for May. The car report shows that the average sale price in May increased by £172 on the April 2015 figure from £5,228 to £5,400, whilst the LCV report shows that the average value of used LCV’s at auction across the board increased 0.6% to £4.599 between April and May. For a full copy of the reports please email

Also in this week’s news, a government update on the European referendum as the big question still stands, should the United Kingdom remain part of the EU?

The DVLA has published some useful advice following news that many members have said they are confused as to the ways of obtaining driving licence information after the counterpart is abolished this June.

Finally, a reminder that the NFDA is your trade body and here to help and advise you on regulatory and operational issues that affect your business. Please do contact us on the NFDA helpline 01788 538303 if you need any assistance.
