This week, we held the inaugural NFDA/NAMA cross-industry used car forum. Some of the key topics on the agenda were Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), the Consumer Rights Act and the future used car market. The forum was attended by a cross section of the industry, including franchised dealers, used car operators and auction houses. The forum provided a great platform for information, guidance, debate and discussion. The NFDA/NAMA led initiative promises to be the first in a line of regular events to discuss both current issues in the used car market and future developments.
The NAMA data reports were published this week. The car report shows that the average sale price in June increased by £98 on the May 2015 figure from £5,400 to £5,498. The average value of used LCV’s at auction across the board increased 1.7% to £4.677 between May and June. For a full copy of the reports please email email@example.com
Today’s news also includes a Q & A briefing note on ADR. If you have any queries on this please do call our helpline on 01788 538303.
