Welcome note from Sue RobinsonBack

SueRobinson2Dear Colleagues,

The NFDA Summer 2015 Dealer Attitude Survey results were published this week. It was extremely encouraging to see a significant response rate of 37% across all dealer networks, which gives a good representative picture of the dealer/manufacturer relationship in the UK. For a copy of the results please contact louise.woods@rmif.co.uk

The NFDA is calling for the government to do more to tackle the issue of odometer fraud, and encourage the outlawing of mileage adjustment companies in the UK. This week we launched our campaign ‘Call Time on Clockers’. This is something we are pushing for on behalf of members, and we will be taking forward at the political party conferences over the coming months. Please see today’s news for full details.

Finally, this week I met with Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Transport Andrew Jones. We discussed a range of issues including mileage fraud and ATFs. He also confirmed that a consultation on MOTs will be out by the end of this year.
