Welcome note from Sue RobinsonBack

SueRobinson2Dear Colleague,

The NFDA’s sister association the National Association of Motor Auctions (NAMA), has published its monthly car and LCV data reports this week for October. The car report shows the average sale price at auction increased by 0.9% to £5,441 from £5,263, whilst the LCV report shows that the average value of used LCV’s across the board increased 1.4% from £4,843 to £4,910 in the month. For a full copy of the reports please email louise.woods@rmif.co.uk.

The final round of the NFDA quarterly regional dealer forums are taking place in December. These forums give the opportunity for members to network with like-minded dealers from a range of franchises and size of business to discuss current industry issues in an informal meeting session. See today’s news for more details on how to participate in these forum sessions.

This week’s MILS case study covers ‘Abandoned Vehicles’. A reminder that as part of your NFDA membership, you have access to our legal helpline for any issues relating to HR and queries into changes in legislation. Please call our helpline on 01788 538303.
