Welcome note from Sue RobinsonBack

sue-robinsonDear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the NFDA is working in partnership with this year’s Automotive Management Live event taking place on the 16 November. AM Live is a new one day trade exhibition offering best practice seminars, advice on moving into the digital age and knowledge on operating a modern showroom! . It promises to be high profile, fast paced, insightful and enjoyable day. Please see today’s news for more details.

Since the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) took over as regulator of consumer credit from the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) in 2004, there have been increasing concerns about the rising costs of regulation and compliance on dealers. The NFDA would like to have a better understanding of the impact this regulatory change is having on dealers and whether this has significantly affected your costs of compliance. In order to do this, we have put together a short survey for member’s to complete in today’s news.

The NFDA now has a LinkedIn group. This has been created to encourage both dealers and manufacturers to share top tips, issues and concerns that affect the industry, as well as allow the NFDA to share our latest news and lobbying updates.  Please click here to join our group.

Finally, I would like to wish you all a very enjoyable Easter break and I look forward to seeing many of you at the NADA Convention and Expo next week.

Sue Robinson, NFDA Director
