Industry first to provide independent mediation for consumers and dealers
Leading used car website Trusted Dealers in partnership with the NFDA (National Franchised Dealers Association) is celebrating another first in the used car industry, with the launch of an independent consumer helpline.
Acting as an unbiased mediation service for both consumers and dealers, the hotline, which is the first of its kind to appear on a classified site, offers advice on all aspects of consumer rights when buying and maintaining a used car.
In addition, Trusted Dealers has launched three new tools, Trusted Chat, Trusted Search and Trusted E-shots to provide enhanced digital marketing opportunities to its dealer membership base.
Trusted Chat adds the functionality for dealers to speak directly to customers browsing through their vehicles on the site while Trusted Search offers the management of pay-per-click advertising to increase dealers’ online visibility.
Trusted E-shots are produced in partnership with Trusted Dealers’ design team, giving dealers a discounted email marketing design and creation service to target and nurture new business leads.

Trusted Dealers is also working with the NFDA on the latest in a series of ‘Driving Digital’ events. Following on from the success of the first Driving Digital events in July 2013, Driving Digital 2 features new content including used car marketing and aftersales that focuses on online as the core of the relationship between franchised dealers and their customers.
