Trusted Dealers NFDA Partnership Launches Consumer HelplineBack

Industry first to provide independent mediation for consumers and dealers

Leading used car wenfdabsite Trusted Dealers in partnership with the NFDA (National Franchised Dealers Association) is celebrating another first in the used car industry, with the launch of an independent consumer helpline.

Acting as an unbiased mediation service for both consumers and dealers, the hotline, which is the first of its kind to appear on a classified site, offers advice on all aspects of consumer rights when buying and maintaining a used car.

In addition, Trusted Dealers has launched three new tools, Trusted Chat, Trusted Search and Trusted E-shots to provide enhanced digital marketing opportunities to its dealer membership base.

Trusted Chat adds the functionality for dealers to speak directly to customers browsing through their vehicles on the site while Trusted Search offers the management of pay-per-click advertising to increase dealers’ online visibility.

Trusted E-shots are produced in partnership with Trusted Dealers’ design team, giving dealers a discounted email marketing design and creation service to target and nurture new business leads.

Trusted Dealers Marketing Director, Neil Addley, said: “The launch of the helpline and these three new services is the latest in what has been a very exciting year for Trusted Dealers. Not only have we continued to develop our membership base, we’ve also entered into an industry-leading partnership with the NFDA to become the consumer facing website for the sector’s most influential trade body.

“We’re committed to always providing the highest quality service to both dealers and consumers, and the mediation hotline, coupled with the new online marketing tools, serves to further strengthen this offering.”

Sue Robinson, Director of the NFDA, said: “The new consumer hotline represents an important step for the industry as it will provide the first mediation service to be incorporated into a classified site.

“In addition to offering car owners help and advice on consumer rights when buying from a franchise dealer, the hotline will also play an important role in helping broker resolutions to customer problems.”

Trusted Dealers is also working with the NFDA on the latest in a series of ‘Driving Digital’ events. Following on from the success of the first Driving Digital events in July 2013, Driving Digital 2 features new content including used car marketing and aftersales that focuses on online as the core of the relationship between franchised dealers and their customers. The NFDA is proud to present a series of presentations and talks from some of the most influential thinkers and key players in the online marketplace to help dealers make the most of their online presence and improve the customer experience and the bottom line alike.

The conference begins at 9.30 and finishes at 1.00 with a buffet lunch. Book online at http://www.driving-digital.co.uk/.

Trusted Dealers launched in 2011 and prides itself on a commitment to ensuring peace of mind for its visitors when buying a used car. It incorporates 886 of the UK’s largest used car dealers and attracts 1.2 million unique users each month.
