As a result of our engagement with the NFDA aftersales steering group, the NFDA and Trusted Dealers have established 10 Points of Difference on aftersales to promote the value and benefits of maintaining your car with a trusted franchised dealer. Trusted Dealers will also launch online service bookings later this year to take advantage of this growing digital opportunity.
These 10 Points of Difference are underpinned by standards which are in the process of being ratified by NFDA members. It’s planned that aftersales bookings will evolve to include offers on older vehicle servicing and a promotion of service plans.
The service will launch in line with the adoption of the new standards and will feature additional content both editorial and video on the Trusted Dealers’ website. This will in turn be made available for members to use as they see fit.
The 10 Points of Difference and aftersales standards are based on findings on the Impetus report conducted by the NFDA in conjunction with the SMMT into buyer’s attitudes to servicing with franchised dealers, high street chains and independents.
Its crucial that the standards are shared and understood within our member’s businesses. For your launch tool kit visit www.trusteddealers.co.uk/nfda-standards.
